Cablexpert FTP Cat.5e Twisted Pair Cable 100 m, solid CCA AWG24, FPC-5004E-SOL/100

Cablexpert FPC-5004E-SOL/100 is a Cat.5e twisted-pair network cable supplied in a 100 m length for LAN, Ethernet and structured cabling installations. The model uses a solid CCA conductor with AWG24 gauge and FTP construction.

CCA uses an aluminum conductor with a copper coating. Solid conductors are commonly used for fixed cable runs. FTP foil shielding helps reduce the influence of external electromagnetic interference when the complete shielded channel is installed correctly.

Cat.5e is intended for Ethernet networks and structured cabling systems. Actual channel performance depends on route length, termination quality, component compatibility and active network equipment.

Typical applications

The cable is suitable for fixed or indoor network installation according to conductor type and project requirements. It can be used in offices, apartments, houses, server rooms, telecommunications cabinets, retail spaces and other locations that require copper network infrastructure.

• local area networks (LAN);
• structured cabling systems;
• Ethernet links between work areas and switching equipment;
• network outlets and patch panels;
• IP device cabling where the project requirements are met;
• office and telecommunications infrastructure.

Key benefits

• Cat.5e category for modern network installations;
• 100 m length helps reduce unnecessary intermediate joints;
• overall FTP foil shielding for the corresponding installation environment;
• solid conductor construction for a specific cabling task;
• AWG24 marking simplifies matching with compatible modules, connectors and termination hardware.

How to choose the right twisted-pair cable

Consider the required category, UTP/FTP/S/FTP construction, conductor material, AWG gauge, length, conductor type and installation environment. A shielded system should use compatible shielded components and be installed according to the project’s shielding and grounding/bonding requirements.

If the cable will be used for PoE-powered devices or long routes, check the equipment and project requirements for conductor material, load and maximum line length.

Installation recommendations

• avoid excessive pulling force, kinks and jacket damage;
• observe an appropriate bend radius;
• avoid routing network cable directly with power cables unless allowed by the project and applicable rules;
• match outlets, modules and patch panels to cable category and conductor gauge;
• after installation, verify termination quality and link integrity.

Frequently asked questions

What does FTP mean?
FTP foil shielding helps reduce the influence of external electromagnetic interference when the complete shielded channel is installed correctly.

What does CCA mean?
CCA uses an aluminum conductor with a copper coating.

What does AWG24 mean?
AWG indicates conductor gauge. Connector, module and tool compatibility should be checked for the specific gauge.

Is this cable suitable for Ethernet?
Yes. The model is intended for Ethernet network links. Final performance depends on the complete cabling system rather than the cable alone.

Can it be used in a structured cabling system?
Yes, when compatible modules, patch panels, routing methods and other components are selected correctly.

What should I check before ordering?
Verify the Cat.5e category, FTP construction, CCA conductor, AWG24 gauge, 100 m length and compatibility with your project requirements.
