DROP-DF02E9FGB is a universal FTTH drop fiber optic cable designed for access networks based on Fiber To The Home (FTTH) technology. It is intended for the “last mile” connection of apartments, private houses, offices, and other facilities to a fiber optic network.

Thanks to its compact flat construction, the FTTH drop cable is convenient for installation, routing, and direct connection to the subscriber. The cable can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Corning SMF-28 Ultra Optical Fiber

The cable contains 2 single-mode Corning SMF-28 Ultra optical fibers compliant with the ITU-T G.657.A1 standard.

G.657.A1 fiber offers improved bending performance, which is especially important in FTTH networks where the cable is often installed in confined spaces, cable ducts, trunking systems, inside buildings, and along routes with frequent direction changes.

The use of high-quality single-mode fiber ensures stable optical signal transmission and allows the cable to be used for high-speed access to:

Flexible Fully Dielectric Construction

The 2FG MB design uses strength members made of para-aramid fibers.

This construction provides good mechanical strength while maintaining excellent flexibility. The cable contains no metallic strength members, making it fully dielectric and electrically non-conductive.

This is particularly important when the cable is installed close to electrical networks and equipment, as well as in applications where electrical isolation and protection against induced electrical potentials are required.

The maximum permissible tensile load is 500 N.

FRNC / LSZH Jacket

The outer jacket is made of FRNC / LSZH (Flame Retardant Non-Corrosive / Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material.

This jacket:

• does not support flame propagation;
• provides low smoke emission;
• contains no halogens;
• releases fewer corrosive gases in the event of fire;
• is suitable for indoor installation;
• is UV-resistant for outdoor applications.

Thanks to its universal jacket, the same cable can be used for both outdoor and indoor sections of the subscriber line, simplifying FTTH installation.
