The G.657.A1 fiber offers reduced bending losses, making it particularly useful when routing cable through confined spaces, cable trunking, and building entry points. The minimum bend radius of the finished cable must be maintained: 40 mm during installation and 20 mm after installation.

Flexible 2FG MB Construction

Para-aramid strength members reinforce the cable while preserving its flexibility. The flat, “bow-tie” profile is convenient for subscriber connections and routing along walls.

The cable features an all-dielectric construction without metallic strength members, eliminating the need to ground these components. The stated maximum tensile load is 500 N.

FRNC/LSZH Jacket for Indoor and Outdoor Use

The black jacket is resistant to ultraviolet radiation. The stated temperature range of −40 to +60 °C allows use in a variety of operating environments.

The FRNC/LSZH material combines flame-retardant properties with low smoke emission and halogen-free construction. The NC designation refers to the corrosivity of combustion products rather than the corrosion resistance of the jacket itself.
