CMS-1980 triangular mounting base is a metal support designed for fast and reliable installation of cable tray systems, metal cable trays and other compatible equipment. The product is made of 3 mm thick steel and features a galvanized zinc coating for additional protection against corrosion.
The design allows the CMS-1980 base to be mounted on side and vertical surfaces. Oval mounting holes measuring 18×9 mm are provided on both the horizontal and vertical sections. The base can be fixed to a wall using anchors, dowels or other suitable metal fasteners with a diameter of up to Ø8 mm.
Metal cable trays, profiles and other compatible components can be secured to the base using bolts, nuts and washers. Thanks to its triangular design, the CMS-1980 can be used as a rigid support element when building cable routes and various engineering structures.
Applications
The CMS-1980 triangular base is designed for installation of cable management systems and auxiliary equipment inside buildings and technical rooms.
- mounting metal cable trays;
- installing cable route components along walls;

Design features
The CMS-1980 is manufactured from steel using forming and stamping processes. After production, the component undergoes electrolytic galvanizing, which forms a protective zinc layer on the steel surface. Additional passivation helps improve corrosion resistance under normal indoor operating conditions.
The triangular geometry provides a rigid support structure for cable management systems. Oval mounting holes allow the installer to adjust the fastener position during installation, making it easier to align cable trays or other mounted equipment.
